How much toothpaste should you use? Do you think the amount of toothpaste you use is too much? It is a mundane task, which we do without giving much thought. Yet, the answer to this seemingly trivial question can impact both your oral health and your wallet. In this blog, you'll find out what is the right amount of toothpaste you should use every day. Adults vs. Kids Children under the age of three should use a smear of toothpaste about the size of a grain of rice. This small amount minimizes the ingestion of fluoride, which can be harmful in large quantities.  For kids aged three to six, a pea-sized dollop is perfect. It's enough to clean their teeth effectively while keeping fluoride exposure at a safe level. Adults, on the other hand, can be a bit more generous.
